У четврту недељу Великог и часног поста, недељу Средопосну,  наша парохија у Сан Маркосу била је домаћин радосног окупљања православног свештенства и верног народа шире области Сан Дијега у току Великопосних богослужења у недељама Великог поста. Заједничком сабрању на Вечерњем богослужењу присуствовали су: Fr. Peter Carmichael (OCA), Fr. Bratso Krsic (St. George Serbian Church, San Diego), Fr. Simeon Corona (St. Gregory of Nyssa Greek Church, El Cajon), Fr. Mansour Azar (St. George Antiochian Church, San Diego), Fr. Nathan Thompson (St. Anthony Antiochian Church), Fr. Joseph Mai (Church of the Resurrection, Russian Church Abroad-serving the Vietnamese community) и Deacon Hallvard Blomgren (St. Anthony Antiochian Church, San Diego).  Домаћин, о. Милован Катанић, био је за певницом.  

Беседом о посту поучио је Fr. Nathan, затим је све присустне поздравио о. Милован, пожелио добро-дошлицу и позвао у црквену салу где је упрличена трпеза љубави.

On the fourth Sunday of Great Lent, Mid-Lent, our parish in San Marcos hosted a joyous gathering of the Orthodox clergy and faithful of the greater San Diego area during the Lenten Sunday Vespers. Attending the Vespers were: Fr. Peter Carmichael (OCA), Fr. Bratso Krsic (St. George Serbian Church, San Diego), Fr. Simeon Corona (St. Gregory of Nyssa Greek Church, El Cajon), Fr. Mansour Azar (St. George Antiochian Church, San Diego), Fr. Nathan Thompson (St. Anthony Antiochian Church), Fr. Joseph Mai (Church of the Resurrection, Russian Church Abroad-serving the Vietnamese community) and Deacon Hallvard Blomgren (St. Anthony Antiochian Church, San Diego).  The host priest, Fr. Milovan Katanic, was at the chanter's stand.

Fr. Nathan delivered a homily at the end of Vespers after which Fr. Milovan greeted all the clergy and faithful welcoming them to St. Petka Church and invited them to the church hall for an agape meal.
